Inventor Kim Gordon of Pomeroy, WA has created an alternative power source designed to meet all your power needs when standard sources fall short.
 
As an avid Christmas decorator, Kim didn’t like having messy extension cords cluttering her yard or the noise of a generator. Living in Washington, winter sunlight is scarce, which made solar power ineffective for her decorations. That was just not an option. While many Christmas lights are battery-powered, some still require extension cords. This led her to think, why not combine an extension cord and batteries into a single box that could be discreetly placed behind decorations? Kim knew a solution like this would be visually appealing and eliminate the need for numerous extension cords, helping to keep her electricity bill in check. In turn, she was inspired to develop the Battery Powered Extension Cord!
